MAPLE WALNUT STICKY MUFFINS

2 CUPS OF FLOUR
2 tsp OF BAKING POWDER
3 Tbsp OF MAPLE SYRUP
  1 EGG
1 CUP OF MILK
1/4 CUP OF OIL

SIFT FLOUR AND BAKING POWDER INTO A LARGE BOWL. MIX OIL, MILK, BEATEN EGG AND MAPLE SYRUP INTO SMALLER BOWL. MAKE A WELL IN THE DRY INGREDIENTS AND ADD LIQUIDS. MIX ONLY UNTIL JUST BLENDED.

 

IN 12 GREASED MUFFIN CUPS PLACE IN EACH:

 

2 tsp OF MAPLE SYRUP
1 tsp OF CHOPPED WALNUTS
1/2 tsp OF MELTED BUTTER
TOP WITH MUFFIN BATTER 2/3 FULL. BAKE AT 425 DEGREES FOR 20 MINUTES. INVERT PAN ON RACK AND COOL.
