GINGERSNAP COOKIES

3/4 cup of shortening
1 cup of white sugar

egg
1/4 cup of molasses
2 cups of flour
a pinch of salt
2 tsp of baking soda
1 tsp of cinnamon
1 tsp of cloves
1 tsp of ginger
Cream shortening, add white sugar, add egg, add molasses. Mix well. Sift Dry ingredients and add them to the mixture. Roll into balls and dip them in white sugar. Bake at 375 for fifteen minutes. If small balls, bake for eight minutes. Enjoy!
